How to pick up an intention through understanding emotion?

Every day we will encounter a range of emotions that indicates the mood of a person. One expresses emotion distinctively based on the situation, circumstances, and person. Based on the mentioned factors, emotion can be concealed, exaggerated, or expressed freely.

It is common if a kid is crying when getting a bad grade. When one is growing up, one could better control the emotion to fit in the social norm. An adult who expresses emotion bluntly to others will deem as impulsive behaviour.

The emotion can be controlled and developed through the experience. It is common to see a grandpa is wiser due to the experiences that shape his view. The self-awareness that one possesses is often polishing traits into an ideal.

When humans are getting information externally, the precursor will catalyze specific reactions. For example, when a person is informed that his house is on fire, the immediate response is either being anxious or shocked. After one is trained emotionally, the reaction could alter in a better way.

The alteration will conceal intention by not directly showing the authentic feeling to another, believe that others will misjudge. However, there is still some cues to detect people wants.

A track record of the previous action can be harnessed as a good gauge of intention. When the emotion expressed differs from the past action, there is a discrepancy in the impression. When the disconformity appears frequently, one could understand the response shown is not always what it is.

Moreover, some emotions could be interpreted to certain emotions in certain circumstances. For instance, a person that praises abnormally can be seen as a sign of hostility or expressing materialistic behaviour.

It could take a long time to master emotion control and emotion reading. People act accordingly to one another that the mask only can be seen through the aftermath. However, by scrutinizing the emotion, one could see the indication and understand people more deeply. By understanding the intention, one could protect oneself and adapt oneself to socialize.
